Upcoming merger sheds international light on local creative community
DENVER, Colorado (Wednesday, July 5, 2017) — (PRNewswire) Art Directors Club Denver, a not-for-profit organization fostering professional development for local creatives, is excited to announce it will become an authorized chapter of The One Club for Creativity, the new global not-for-profit organization formed out of the recent merger of the Art Directors Club and The One Club.
Headquartered in New York, The One Club for Creativity (www.oneclub.org) is the world’s foremost not-for-profit organization devoted to elevating creative work in all aspects of advertising and design on a global basis. With members across 61 countries around the globe, this merger marks a significant step forward for Denver, drawing international attention to the talented artists and designers who live, work, and make in the Mile High City.
This merger, currently in process, will be made official in early July when the club rebrands as The One Club For Creativity – Denver. Denver Club President, Anne Redureau and her esteemed Board of Directors are committed to preserving the club’s foundational, community-focused ethos while simultaneously offering members a new, expanded network of industry experts worldwide.
When asked to comment on the Denver chapter One Club’s most remarkable points -- especially in relation to its current growth -- Redureau commented, “It gathers talent from various creative fields, and these connections make our local creative community stronger. The Paper Fashion Show, being the largest of its kind in the nation, helps put Denver on the map as well.”
Popular ADCD events, such as The Annual Show, design competition; The Review, student portfolio critique and scholarship awards; and the acclaimed Paper Fashion Show (also lead by Redureau) are all on schedule for this year.

The Brief, a student design competition simulating the demands of a real-world creative agency working environment (November 2017);
Art Bus, a curated tour of Denver’s most interesting art galleries (December 2017);
The One Show, a presentation of The One Club for Creativity’s international Gold Pencil Award winners, hosted by Kevin Swanepoel, CEO, The One Club for Creativity (February 2018).
The One Club for Creativity offers an unparalleled array of programming across creative disciplines, with all initiatives falling under four key pillars: Education, Inclusion & Diversity, Professional Development and Gender Equality.
